SEIU Local 221 President Resigns

SEIU Local 221 President Sharon-Frances Moore is leaving Local 221 after two years of service. Her presence will be missed. Executive Committee Vice President James Slade, Treasurer Alison Barkley and Secretary Alberto Parra of the Executive Board will fill the role of the Office of the President until a interim President is found to fill the office.

They have cut hundreds of county jobs while refusing to use the $700 million they have in “rainy day” reserves to save jobs and services.
