At our Self-Sufficiency Services Summit on March 23 we joined together. We built connections, shared stories and empowered each other. Follow this link to see pictures and share.

We also provided feedback. In addition to sharing the results of our SSS Survey, members voiced concerns regarding the negative effects of the universal worker program on both our co-workers and the communities we serve.

This lead to a unified vote. We came to a unanimous decision to stop the universal worker program and urge management to collaborate with us in our union to design an equitable workload program for all staff members.

What's next? On Tuesday, April 30 we will have a Self-Sufficiency Services rally at the Board of Supervisors. Will you commit to being there and bringing your coworkers? We are also planning worksite unity breaks. Check in with your steward for details.
