We had support from retirees and the community, a band, cotton candy, media coverage, but most important of all - we had fired-up members who were there to make sure that the County of San Diego invests reserves in employees and the communities that we serve.
There are three more events that we must commit to in order to move Supervisors to support not just a good contract, but a great one.

- Hear the details of the County’s next counter proposal at the Contract Action Team meeting (hybrid) - Dinner served at 6 p.m. Meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. May 5 at the County Operation Center Chambers, 5520 Overland Ave. 92123- Sign up at seiu221.org/CAT
- Put in now to take off all day for the Board of Supervisors meeting on May 10 This will be a critical moment in our push to have Supervisors approve a contract that recognizes our hard work, sacrifices and service to the community.
