Faced with the skyrocketing price of gas and the need for many of us to travel for work, your Union Stewards took action. We proposed an increase to management at Episcopal Community Services of the gas reimbursement rate.

We came to an agreement that gives members who drive as an essential part of our jobs, including those with Home Base, Family Child Care and Collaboratives staff, an additional $60 a month gas stipend.

Stewards also clarified that other members have the ability to work with our supervisor if offsite recruitment assignments are cost-prohibitive.
